Why Time to Fill is Important

One of the ways our on demand recruiting platform benefits hiring companies is our ability to minimize time to fill.

What is time to fill?

It's a key recruiting metric that counts the number of days between the publication of a job and getting an offer accepted.

The recruiting process is a lot like a conveyor belt in a factory. A piece of metal travels on a conveyor belt and makes many stops along the way before it is converted to an engine.

The success of the factory depends on how quickly and how efficiently the metal is processed through each stop on the conveyor belt.

It's a similar process with recruiting. There are many steps before a company can hire the right candidate.

The process can breakdown in number of ways. A recruiting manager could have an issue with sourcing candidates. Perhaps, the hiring company doesn't market their jobs effectively. Or perhaps the hiring company has a too narrow of a focus and would benefit from opening up the potential pool candidates.

At Vested, we have identified many of these steps and have found ways to minimize the cost and to minimize the time spent in finding the right candidate. We spend all our efforts to minimize the time to fill for all our clients so they can focus on their business and not worry about how to fill an open role.
